2023 Counselor Fly-In: Dates TBA
Each year, the Office of Admissions hosts high school counselors at Counselor Fly-In, Southern Oregon University’s premier counselor showcase event. Three days and two nights will entail a little work and a lot of fun!
Tentative Schedule of Events
Day 1
4:00pm – Admissions Office Tour
4:30pm – Welcome Reception
5:20pm – Walking Tour en route to Dinner
5:30pm – Dinner at the Plunkett Center (SOU Foundation)
7:30pm – Return to hotel or explore Ashland on your own
Day 2
7:30am – Breakfast with Student Life
9:00am – Academic Area Tour 1
10:00am – Focus Group with Admissions & Marketing
10:45am – Photo Shoot with “Rocky The Raider”
11:15am – Raider Village housing Tour
12:00pm – Disability / Student Life & Clubs / Athletics / Study Away
1:00pm – Lunch with current students
2:30pm – Academic Area Tour 2
3:30pm – Free Time
5:15pm – Tour of Ashland & Surrounding Area
6:00pm – Dinner in Downtown Ashland
