Student Account Payments
Southern Oregon University is always happy to see students return to complete their degrees and progress toward future career goals. Returning SOU students can easily start right where they left off.
SOU OneCard
The SOU OneCard is your official SOU ID card, and all campus services (e.g. Library, Health & Wellness Center, Payroll, Raider Student Services, etc.) expect you to carry the card for identification purposes.
Tuition & Fees
Mandatory enrollment fees include Building, Incidental, and Health Service fees. A few students are exempt from the assessment of mandatory fees when all of their registered courses are assessed at rates that are different from the published SOU schedule of tuition and fees.
Revolving Charge Account Plan
All students, staff and faculty at Southern Oregon University who are either enrolled or incur any charges will establish a Revolving Charge Account after returning the acknowledgment set on the following page.
Student Account Holds
Holds are placed on student accounts for various reasons. A collection of common holds and how to resolve them can be found on the SOU Student Account Holds page.
Education Tax Credits
United States Congress passed the Taxpayer Relief Act of 1997 (TRA97) and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) establishing the Lifetime Learning Tax Credit and the American Opportunity Credit.
Oregon Residency
If a student believes they qualify for residency for tuition purposes, they may need to submit the Oregon Residency Affidavit and all supporting documentation. Visit the SOU Admissions page to apply for Oregon residency.
