Program Preparation
The Latin American Studies minor is interdisciplinary, allowing students to choose from a variety of courses in Anthropology, Business, Economics, History, Political Science, and other related disciplines to fulfill their minor requirements.
Degree Roadmap
The Latin American Studies minor has a small set of required courses. In addition, students choose three additional elective courses from a wide list dealing with aspects of global systems or study of a particular country or world region. Most of the courses also fulfill different University Studies requirements.
Capstone
The Latin American Studies minor is particularly popular with International Studies majors who have a particular interest in Latin America. Students with other majors may also pursue a Latin American Studies minor to provide specific specialization to complement their major. A Latin American Studies minor degree may provide the foundation for a very successful career.
